Steve job's Historical and Golden Words before Death
Here are some of his
last words:
Steve Jobs, the renowned entrepreneur and chairman of Apple Inc., passed away at the age of 56 due to pancreatic cancer. He left behind a substantial estate valued at 7 billion dollars.
Although my present circumstances may appear to reflect the pinnacle of success, I find myself lacking genuine happiness with my achievements. Ultimately, wealth has transformed into merely a figure or a state of being to which I have grown accustomed.
As I rest in my bed, unwell and reflecting on the narrative of my existence, I come to understand that all my accolades and wealth hold no significance when confronted with mortality. One may employ a chauffeur to operate a vehicle, a servant to manage daily tasks, or executives to oversee a business, thereby accumulating additional wealth and recognition.
However, it is essential to recognize that no one can be employed, regardless of the expense, to alleviate your suffering or illness. A person may obtain all the material possessions they desire, yet one aspect that remains irretrievable once lost is "life."
It is crucial to understand that no amount of money can secure someone to ease your pain or illness. A person may acquire all the material wealth they wish, but one element that cannot be regained once it is lost is "life."
As we age, we gain wisdom and come to understand that a watch, regardless of whether it is priced at $30 or $3,000, serves the same purpose of telling time. Similarly, we recognize that the value of money remains unchanged, whether it is stored in a $30 wallet or a $500 one.
Regardless of whether we operate a vehicle valued at $150,000
or one worth $15,000, the journey and distance traveled remain unchanged,
leading us to the same endpoint. Similarly, whether we reside in a 300 square
meter home or a 3000 square meter estate, the experience of loneliness
persists, as we are never more than a few meters apart during sleep. Genuine
inner happiness is not derived from material possessions. Whether one travels
in first class or economy class, in the event of a plane crash, all passengers
face the same fate.
I trust you recognize that possessing a higher purpose in life and bringing joy to others constitutes genuine happiness. Furthermore, there are several important points that warrant our attention:
- Rather than instructing your children to pursue
wealth, guide them towards finding happiness. This way, as they mature, they
will appreciate the significance of things rather than merely their monetary
value.
- Consume your meals as if they were medicine;
otherwise, you may find yourself consuming medicine as if it were food.
- Allow your money to bask in the sunlight while
you enjoy the shade. Do not hesitate to invest in yourself and those around
you, for money is meant to enhance our lives, not to become the sole focus of
our existence.
- Cherish those whom Allah has placed in your
life and treat them with kindness, for there may come a time when you will rely
on one another.
- If your goal is to lead a life of abundance,
you may choose to walk alone. However, if you seek true happiness, it is best
to journey alongside others. If you have taken the time to read this, express
gratitude to Allah for the innumerable blessings bestowed upon you.
